Prof Vijay Pereira, PhD (United Kingdom) is a Senior Professor, Founder & Managing Director at Growth, Productivity & Entrepreneurship Center of Excellence (GPEC-X), London, UK. Prof Pereira is a serial entrepreneur involved with several businesses and also consults businesses globally. He is also a visiting Distinguished Full Professor at the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) and visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Indore, India. Professor Pereira is in the top 1% ranked publishing scholar in business and management globally for the year’s 2019-2025 and the same rank for a publishing scholar in Europe for the same period (P-rank). He has senior leadership experience at French Business Schools, for five years. Prior to that Professor Pereira was the Associate Dean (Research) at the Australian University of Wollongong (Dubai campus). He also holds an adjunct position of Full Professor at University of South Pacific, Fiji. Prof Pereira is on the editorial and advisory board for the journals Production and Operations Management and Journal of Management Studies (both listed in Financial Times ranking). Professor Pereira has a record of attracting funding and has published widely, in over 300 outlets, 20 special issues and 10 books, including in leading international journals such as the Human Resource Management, Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and Journal of Business Ethics (all Financial Times ranked). He has also published in the Academy of Management journals Academy of Management Perspectives and Academy of Management Discoveries. Professor Pereira was the elected Vice President of the Academy of International Business (AIB), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), for the last five years and is now on the advisory board. He is the current President-Elect of the Indian Academy of Management and Chair of the Academy of International Business (Western Europe).
