The Indian Academy of Management (INDAM) Conference is the flagship academic event of INDAM, bringing together scholars, educators, and practitioners to advance management research with relevance to India and other emerging economies. Organised in collaboration with premier management institutions in India, INDAM has been hosting research conferences on a regular basis to foster rigorous scholarship and meaningful academic exchange.

Until 2022, the INDAM Conference was held on a biennial basis; since 2023, it has become an annual feature, reflecting the growing scale, relevance, and vibrancy of the INDAM scholarly community.

Each edition of the conference offers a rich academic programme, including competitive paper and symposium sessions, keynote and plenary talks by leading international scholars, doctoral and junior faculty development workshops, and forums that connect research with policy and practice. The conference encourages interdisciplinary perspectives and methodological diversity, providing a collegial platform for intellectual dialogue and collaboration.

With its affiliation with the Academy of Management (AOM), USA, and its steadily growing global visibility, the INDAM Conference attracts scholars and participants from across the world. Anchored in INDAM’s mission to strengthen management scholarship in and on India, the conference plays a vital role in nurturing early-career researchers, building international research networks, and promoting globally impactful research grounded in local and regional contexts.

2027: Twelfth INDAM Conference will be held at Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) from January 6-9, 2027.

2026: Eleventh INDAM Conference was held at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune, from January 7-10, 2026.

2025: Tenth INDAM Conference was held at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Kolkata Campus, from January 15-18, 2025. 

2024: Ninth INDAM Conference was held at Goa Institute of Management (GIM), Goa from January 11-13, 2024. 

2023: Eighth INDAM Conference was held at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai from January 6-8, 2023.

2022: Seventh INDAM Conference was held at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak from January 7-9, 2022.

2020: Sixth Conference was held at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli from January 2-4, 2020.

2017: Fifth Conference hosted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, from December 18-20.

2015: Fourth Conference was hosted by Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Noida Campus

2013: Third Conference was hosted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

2011: Second Conference was hosted by Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore

2009: First Conference was hosted by XLRI, Jamshedpur
