Introduction

Indian Academy of Management (INDAM) is an affiliate of the Academy of Management, USA, the premier management research and education body of management researchers and educators in the world. INDAM was established in 2007 with the primary objectives of: spearheading the creation and dissemination of knowledge on Indian businesses, organizations, and other institutions both within and outside India; influencing business and management policy and education; and to act as a resource to develop the next generation of researchers and educators in India.

To achieve these objectives, INDAM aims to provides access to a strong and active community of scholars on India who can meet on a regular basis in research conferences in India to share their interests, ideas, and findings. It provides a link with other professional bodies based not only in India but globally and creates an active interface between scholars and practitioners of management. The Academy also conducts research and professional workshops for early career researchers, such as doctoral students and new faculty, to help them grow their research and publication skills.

INDAM Secretariat

The INDAM Secretariat serves as the central administrative and coordination hub of the Indian Academy of Management. It manages official correspondence, membership services, conference administration, and communication with national and international stakeholders.

The Secretariat is hosted at IIFT Kolkata and is managed by Prof. K. Rangarajan. Working closely with the INDAM Executive Committee and conference host institutions, it plays a key role in ensuring continuity, institutional memory, and the smooth functioning of INDAM’s academic and administrative activities.
