Introduction
Indian Academy of Management (INDAM) is an affiliate of the Academy of Management, USA, the premier management research and education body of management researchers and educators in the world. INDAM was established in 2007 with the primary objectives of: spearheading the creation and dissemination of knowledge on Indian businesses, organizations, and other institutions both within and outside India; influencing business and management policy and education; and to act as a resource to develop the next generation of researchers and educators in India.
To achieve these objectives, INDAM aims to provides access to a strong and active community of scholars on India who can meet on a regular basis in research conferences in India to share their interests, ideas, and findings. It provides a link with other professional bodies based not only in India but globally and creates an active interface between scholars and practitioners of management. The Academy also conducts research and professional workshops for early career researchers, such as doctoral students and new faculty, to help them grow their research and publication skills.

- Tenth INDAM Conference will be hosted by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) at Kolkata Campus from 15- 18 January 2025.
- Ninth INDAM Conference held at Goa Institute of Management (GIM) on January 11-13 2024 was a huge success, with largest turnout of more than 600 participants attending the conference.
- INDAM has started Special Conferences and Research Workshops to further its ambition of serving academic community, especially doctoral students and early career researchers.
- INDAM Book Series: Publications under Palgrave Studies in Indian Management.
- An IIMB Management Review article for the benefit of junior management faculty/doctoral students on crafting high quality manuscripts: Commonly Observed Shortcomings in Manuscripts Submitted to Management Journals
