An Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) in Services Marketing and UGC NET (Management) qualified teacher, he coordinates foreign university academic programs (Duquesne University, University of Oslo, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Colorado State University, Caltech) apart from his regular administrative and teaching assignments. He is been a visiting academic to Duquesne University, USA and his specialization areas include Services Marketing, Management, Rural Marketing & Consumer Behavior.

An author (with Pearson/FT Press, USA) and a publisher of articles in refereed International & National journals, he has royalty earning case studies in repositories of IVEY Publishing, Canada, Harvard Business Review, USA, GlobaLens, USA and The Case Centre (ECCH), UK to his credit. He is also a reviewer at Cornell Quarterly, USA, Journal of Services Marketing, UK, Academy of Management (AOM) – Annual Meetings regularly (2017 to 2019) and International Journal of Hospitality Management, USA. Some of his successful management/marketing international and National consultancies include work with Seiko Instruments Inc., Japan, ‘Moonflake’ cookies, Cochin, Onattukara Coconut Producers Company Ltd. and Accoy shirts. He also mentors startups and is currently associated with a drinking water solution company.

He is also an em-paneled trainer for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Kochi, Kerala Police – Janamytri, Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Kochi, State Bank of Travancore – RSETI [Rural Self Employment Training Institute], Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC) and Kerala Industrial and Technological Consultancy Organization Ltd. (KITCO). Having undergone training in case writing and teaching methods from IIMA, Harvard Business Publishing and UMICH, USA he is a proponent of teaching with cases. He is also an Examiner, Adjudicator, Evaluator, syllabus revision committee member, Question paper setter, Viva-voce panel member for PhD, M Phil and postgraduate Management and Hotel Management programs of various universities.

He conducts management development programs titled ‘Jumpstarting startups’, ‘Dining Etiquette’, ‘Discover the leader in you’, ‘Case writing and teaching’, and ‘Business & Social Protocol’ and faculty development programs in ‘Digital teaching, research, learning and assessment’ which are well commended by stakeholders.
