Requirement – Associate Professor – Economics

Department – Finance and Economics

Desired Profile:

• PhD with First Class at the preceding degree or equivalent in Economics area/specialization with excellent academic record throughout
• Minimum of 6 years of teaching/industry/research experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professors at IIMs or other peer institutes in India/abroad
• Candidate has demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities
• Outstanding managers or professionals, working in industry and with established reputations, and who have significant contributions to knowledge, but do not possess a PhD degree, may also be considered for appointment

• Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for teaching/monitoring/advising/providing research and required services aligned with the institute’s mission and vision
• Actively pursuit research leading to publications in reputed and quality journals
• Contribute consistently to establish the department as a centre of excellence
